Has anyone thought about swapping a bigger supercharger in? Like swapping one in from a cobra, or Kenne Bell/whipple blower?

 

love the begining when he throws it sideways and just hear the stillen screaming. i've watched that one part so many times. despite what others may say, i love my stillen

 

hahaha yeah i like the vid just bc its cool. i rewind that beginning part too lol

 

can't wait till i have enough footage to make my own decent one.

 

a v-8 blower will be longer then one for our cars...maybe a grand prix gtp one??

It's funny....on these forums you'd think the Stillen was a total piece of garbage. But then you watch actual videos (not just reading speculation) and I dunno how you can't enjoy it. Ignoring the price, it's a sweet mod.

 

I'd like to see a shop try to mess around with one of those...

The stillen s/c kit is the safest for stock motor right?

 

lol nothing is "safe" but i like my procharger...it will make more power then the stillen and your not always in boost ...=save a bit of gas money for the track

 

I thought this was a stillen thread, i didnt remember it being a procharger thread.

 

was just giving my .02 on what i thought....stillen doesnt make alot of power and its expensive....nubie....

 

Nforce1s Stillen sounds so sweet. Much quieter than my vortech. But he's also not producing much more power at Stage 3 and me at stock. I just dislike the look of the hood. Otherwise, Yay for SCs

I understand stillen does not make alot of power but this thread is to see stillen videos, i did not talk up stillen in the procharger video thread.

 

I have a chase cam mount for the Z, might try to get some footage this weekend. I love my S/C, it sounds mean and performs great. I also have some supporting mods that really make her scream!

 

what hood is that? does aynbody know. tried a quick search. sory for the lazy ness=p

That is one version of stillens superchager hood. if i remember correctly its not very functuonal, the hood scope is just for looks it is not actually open.

 

the hood scoop is required to fit the blower under the hood only

 

I think he's talking about the v2 hood. The v1 has the "cowl" buldge to fit the blower whereas the v2 has a scoop on top of that buldge (similar to the WRX/STI). The v2 scoop is non-functional.
