From hearing APS TT stock BOV and HKS SSQV, The APS sounds alot nicer. The HKS is just too high Pitched. I know they have little insert you can put in to make different sounds. Why dont you just take the insert out and see how it sounds?

nice vid man!

i placed my ssq just like that and capped off the recirculating port. i inserted the purple fin (which has a cylinder) and it sounds much better with a bit more meat.

Yea, I have the purple insert also but I didnt like it. Made more of a wooosh sound with a small pitch chirp at the end, too quiet for me.

i wouldn't know how quiet it was... i am running 15 psi atm and it's intimidating and loud. i never liked the APS... the spring is too strong and i had MAJOR surge.

+1 on a great mod, regardless!

I'd like to hear how it sounds with the purple insert. It's the one out of the two that I prefer.
