Thanks for all the comments! Glad it was enjoyable
Yup, that's a good song. Is more layback I guess, good for slower-paced vid.
It's an old song, but I though the beat goes well for this type of vid. I forgot to put the music's credit. Song is by The Cardigans, called "My Favorite game," featured in Grand Turismo.
You should be jealous j/k. I think we're fortunate to live around so many canyons here in so-cal. Shooting vids is fun, but add sports cars and canyons to the mix, and its very fun. Thanks for the kind words.
Gran Turismo 2....
Must have been nice back in those days. Yup, it's a fun place, but like with most canyons, it's not a place to test your limit. For the most part though, it's very nice. The view is awesome, as I tried to show in parts of the video.

Thanks for the complements and encouragements!
There might be another part to this vid, but from another canyon.
by the way, I don't know what kind of test pipe my friend has, but I'll ask him for those who like the sound.

O'well ill be moving to Austin in 4 months at least i can drive out by lake Travis. Decent video, good way to be productive with your own interests.

Ah, the stories I could tell about Ortega Hwy in the late 80's... 'course, back then I was sporting my '66 mustang coupe with a bored and stroked 302, glass packs and tri-y's ridin on Torq-Thrusts.
I like my Z better, tho...

i'm definately a fan of the video...well organized clips, good flow to the music.
The Cardigans - My Favorite Game
off the Gran Turismo album (1998).....when were you born if you think that's 80's?
not unless they remade it after 1998...but it sounds identical to the original by the cardigans

There was a nice DTM video I had a long time ago and the song they used was Tunnel Trance by Orbital. Not to long of a song, but very awesome. Great for a car vid. You should look into using that song.

haha...thanks all for the comments, glad you got a kick out of it.
about that spot on the windsheld, yes it's bird $hit it decided to bomb the windsheld right when we got to the good part of ortega, ruined a few nice clips that I could have used. Good observation, I was hopping other things would distract it from being seeing lol.
Equipment is important too, so if you had the tools you need, a good video is possible. The software that comes with my Mac definitely helped make it much easier for me to put the footages together to form what I wanted. Easy to use program, but I'm finding it's limit already
Definitely do able. Let me know when you guys do a track event or meet, I think we can form a video (something like what you have on your page, with some Z's gone wild editing). If you could hookup track passes for 2 cars woud be perfect
hahah.... I was trying to distract that fact with loud sound and fast clips, but I guess it didn't work. I dont know, one of the Z's is an auto, guess which one
I needed more clips of different angles to keep things interesting also. This was kind of a test run, so we didn't get as many shots as I wanted.
I know other types of music would go well with fast car vids, like rock, heavy metal, hip-hop (like the one from teriyaki boys in FF3), but "MY Favorite Game" seems good for what I was looking for, and it's from grand turismo! I had to use it
