Yep mine is coming on Tuesday and im installing it on Wednesday. As for dyno results i talked to shawn and let him know that i am going to be doing a before and after dyno for these and he told me he is seeing a problem with the results showing on the dyno. He told me taht even though the car feels different something abut nissans ECU doesnt allow it to show gains on teh dyno unless the car has like 2-4K miles on it with the pulley. He told me for the 03-06 pulleys they dynoed the car every 3 months and after each session teh gains increased. Wierd but can't wait for my results

EDIT: ANd i think the pulley has a 6 pound reduction

sounds good. I will redyno my car as soon as i get the pulley on. it would be a good comparison to yours. I would love to see the difference in HP/TQ in favor of your z.

Like Shawn said they take a while to kick in with the factory ECU so im installing mine on the 20th and dynoing on the 25th. IF you waited 5 days too i think that woudl be a good idea. He told me the harder you drive it in those 5 days the better results you would see on a dyno. Idk why its like that but we'll soon find out if it shows any gains on the dyno.

The stock ECU needs to recalibrate for the lightened rotational mass. That's not something you can reflash or tune for. Lightened pulleys have no effect on A/F.

hey write a review of the pulley. Unfortunately, mine will be here on Friday. 5 long days away. I cant wait to see if there is going to be any substantial difference.

Pardon my French, but that's a huge load of BS. I can post up VQ35DE dynos of UDPs and the gains aren't remotely close to the 8-12whp UR is claiming. Try 1 to 2whp if you're lucky. See my earlier post on page 2 to see the physics behind all this. I had a modded 96 Maxima with the VQ30DE and I had a UR UDP (5.5lbs lighter than stock). I tracked that car over 200 times at the strip. Over the course of 40 to 50 runs and 1.5 years, the UR UDP revealed not a lick of difference in 1/4 mile ET or MPH. If anything, the car was actually fractionally slower. I removed UR UDP and ran it that way for over one year and the MPH/ETs didn't change (no changes to the car, same track).

The reason why the UDP won't show gains on the dyno is because removing 6lbs of rotational weight straight off 7" diameter crank pulley hub doesn't make a big impact in terms of power or acceleration. The only things you'll notice is quicker revving engine in nuetral, a slightly boggier launch, and some increased NVH through the pedals and shifter because you've removed the dampening characteristics of the OEM pulley which is actually two peices sandwiched with an elastomer ring.

I've got $20 saying none of you are going to see more than 1-3whp with these pullies and no changes in 1/4 mile performance.

Why is it that every single performance mod for our car sparks a huge debate on whether it will be useful or a complete waste of $$$ ?

That simply means that the only option left is save for boooooost

I'd guess you'll get about 4-5whp peak gain, with gains all across the rpms. You'll gain more TQ than HP.

Thats basically the idea at hand. You want more power on your HR? Boost or go home....

I however am very happy with the power and performance with my NA Z and it is enough for me

Just got my pulley in mail!!!Looked at it and it seems very well manufactured. Im hoping to install it this thursday and my dyno for these has changed to August 26 which is fine by me. I will write a review but i think i'll wait a few days after i install it to give a proper review. Updates to come....
