The VQ35HR has slightly different cam timings than the VQ35DE 'Revup'.
VQ35DE 'Revup' cam data
Engine: VQ35DE (3)
Model Years: 2005-2006 (G35mt, 35th Anniversary 350Z)
CVTC: Intake and Exhaust
Intake__Lift: 10.5mm
Exhaust_Lift: 10.5mm
Intake__Duration: 248º
Exhaust_Duration: 248º
Intake_Opens: 2º ATDC
Intake_Closes: 70º ABDC
Exhaust_Opens: 70º BBDC
Exhaust_Closes: 2º BTDC
Overlap: -4º
----------------
VQ35HR
Engine: VQ35DE
CVTC: Intake and Exhaust
Intake__Lift: 10.5mm
Exhaust_Lift: 10.5mm
Intake__Duration: 248º
Exhaust_Duration: 248º
Intake_Opens: 2º BTDC
Intake_Closes: 66º ABDC
Exhaust_Opens: 68º BBDC
Exhaust_Closes: 0º BTDC
Overlap: 2º
The intake cam has been advanced by 4º and the exhaust cam has been advanced by 2º.
The spark plug lised in the ESM is the Denso FXE22HR11
Same smaller valves as on the 2007 Altima.
Stiffer valve springs than the 'revup' engine. Strongest springs to date on any known production VQ engine. They might be the same as the Nismo springs.
113-127lbs @ 26.2mm (vs. 98-110lbs @26.2mm revup)
Once piece main cap/girdle/skirt with six bolt mains. Similar or same design as the VQ40DE.
That was lifted from 350zforums. With that being said, does the HR use a different camshaft entirely than the older DE?

Dyno for the latest was on a four wheel Dyno Dynamics Dyno.
Dynos for the previous three was on a two wheel Dyno Dynamics Dyno.
Based on the test dynos between the two they were within just a couple of HP the same. No car is always the same reading from day to day.
Temp/time of day were very different on my runs as well. Old runs were at night in the spring and the latest was mid-afternoon in the summer.
Overall a good gain.

Our dyno reads about 10% lower than a DynoJet, so I would expect about 290whp+ on the common DynoJet. Not too shabby, I think, for exhaust, test pipes, air intake, and cams...no tuning..no headers. ![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

The car will be getting another dyno at the end of January, now that I have put a couple of hundred miles on it.
