Here is a video of my car on the dyno yesterday. This is with the digi cam so I know sound quality isnt the best but at least you have a clip now for how the AAM test pipes and exhaust sound.

Thanks man, it is raspy but you are right I honestly don't hear it on the dyno. From inside the car the rasp is loud. And when I say loud I just meant relative to the other Zs that I have heard. I am pleased with it and the rasp doesn't bother me too much. I hope you like yours!

Are you guys all get the CEL light from your test pipes?
I got in my Berks yesterday and am wondering what you guys did to make the light go off.

I heard putting steel wool in the Extension helps.
Did any of you have any luck?

Thanks
Car sounds awesome by the way.
I may have to throw on a Vid of my Berk /EVO2 combo soon...

I bought the OBDII device and it should be in Monday/Tuesday (Gonna flip the CEL off myself). Since the slave cylinder recall happened I won't be putting my test pipes on until I am sure the car was serviced correctly. Really wanted to put them on today tho . The FI test pipes came in yesterday looking great.

So by buying the DEvice you are just going to erase the code each time?
I thought it would pop back up every couple of uses.

Or does that software completely delete it?
I know the Cipher system deletes it but the code will come back on after a few drives. If the problem is not 100% fixed

As far as I know the 07s always have the CEL problem. Eventually all the fixes seem to still have it popping up after a few hundred miles. The OBDII device only clears it from the dashboard temporarily. It will come back after a few drive cycles. It only takes 45 secs to clear tho so no big deal.

How long have you been driving without a light? and what is the nonfouler your talking about because all the ones I have seen are just extensions out of the exhaust flow which come already on the AAM 2.5in TPs and they even have a backwards bend?

I just put my Fast Intentions Reasonated on. The hole the o2 sensor goes is I put a stopper type screw in it to fill the hole and it seems to be doing ok. Did a 5 mile drive home and gas mileaged seemed fine. However on thing is I hear a rattling noise that is very subtle. You can hear it in the car somewhat clearly but outside the car not so much. Is this rasp? Or is something potentially loose? Or are the tps just not broken in yet. If you need a sound clip of what im talking about I can make one.

the rattling is probably just the exhaust needing to be adjusted a little bit. The test pipes dont have to break in cuz they are just pipes without any moving parts. The rasp just sounds like excess air coming from your exhaust. Almost like your car is hissing. FI exhaust doesnt have it from all the cars Ive heard with it.

I am using the HKS knockoff. It sounds great with the TPs except for this noise. Going to slide under with a 14mm ina bit and check where the TPs both to the exhaust.

Heres the noise. Video is very loud due to the cam being under the car. May need headphones to sort out the noise clearly.
