Default Headers for 07 Z's yet??

I have been looking around for headers for my 07 Nismo but can't find any, does anyone know if there are any out yet? If so, where can I find them? Any suggestions on a brand?? Thanks guys for your input.

As far as i know, the 07's headers are already equal length. I dont know if buying aftermarket headers will give you any gains.

Its strange though, ive never seen anybody post up pics of what the stock 07+ headers look like.

Jic magic makes header for the HR. Great company i highly recomend anything they sell. I have there full exhaust. y-pipes not installed yet. i'm waiting unitl i get my test pipes in and headers. Also u really don't need headers for the 07. i haven't been dyno'd yet but just my oponoin based on hearing everyone elses comments and info but headers aren't really needed until ur ready for a reflash. might be wrong but just a base suggestion. but still JIC Magic still an outstanding company!

The stock headers on the HR are better then previous years and aftermarket short headers may not show a whole lot of improvement, but we've yet to see any real numbers yet (afaik). Long headers might prove to be better, thats going to require more work to build. I believe that the last time I spoke with Tomei, they were also prototyping headers for the HR among other items, but they spend lots of time prototyping and it could easily be another year before we see anything from them.

How about NO.

Pics of the OEM HR headers have been posted up a LONG time ago. Search the thread that Sharif tore down the HR engine. The stock headers are ALMOST equal length. I would suspect a good set of aftermarket headers with the proper R+D would yeild some more HP/TQ than people are thinking. There's more to it than just the equal length bit.

About the JIC headers... it says they're for '03-'07 Z's... I think they meant '03-'06 since it won't fit the '07 (unless they have it available specifically for the '07 also and just grouped them together).

There's also some eBay headers available for the HR (like the JVT headers), but those are always poo (lots of Honda owners and WRX owners have nothing but bad things to say about them... cracking, bad fitment, etc.).

if those came stock you would be good shape. Even though the newer style headers are MUCH more efficient than the older design there is still some to gain with a well crafted set of headers. Now if it worth the time/money over HP is up to you.

Yeah... I was at Nissan yesterday and was talking to the tech there and he even said he wasnt sure if there were headers out because of the fact that the stock headers look like after market headers... So it will be interesting to see what they come out with

considering their horsepower gain came from a 2004 350z, i don't see how that could be valuable at all for 07+ headers. false adverstisement.

True it's from an '04, but it's the same page for all Z years, I just narrowed it down. Here it is pre-filter down: http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIHDR05&c=PE

As for dyno-ing, I'm getting gouged on the install (by the same place that runs the dyno)...I'll see what I can do, although I might end up dropping a lot more cash than I can afford.
