I didn't really wanna sit here and search just because I don't think I'd get a full enough answer.... So I'm willing to get flamed. I need a tan.... LoL.
For you 07+ guys with high flow cats. What cats did you get and what are your impressions.. I'm looking at fast intentions, berks or aam.... Which I think also are lyk the only ones out lol. So technically that statement makes no sense lol. But seriously.. Is there is diff in all there metallic cats?? Are all 300cell?? And if so is there an honest difference?? I never got high cats before for any car so I don't know tooo much on the differences in them if there are.. Thanks for helpin out.. O and plz don't throw the idea of test pipes which I know I'll get either way. I don't wanna drive around with thrown cel lights.... Thanks....

thanks
I love my berk met. HFCs. I love the sound with the nismo and the car gained 10 rwhp with them 271 to 283 I need to stop by the shop to download the graph tomorrow. I will post a new thread about them.
They are very well built and worth the cash to me.
I also have a nismo cat back.

I started out with the Crawfords and was pretty happy with them. No idea about any gains, but they sounded nice
When I saw the Berks, they just looked like a very nice product - very nicely finished. So I got some Berks installed last week, but let me tell you they are LOUD (at least in combination with the Stillen intakes and Nismo exhaust). I guess many people like the sound, but to me, they sound raspy and generally obnoxious. Listening to the radio or using a cell phone is now impossible!!!!
Right now, I'm thinking I will probably have the stock cats put back on.

I have the FI HFCs, dynoed 285 at MRC last summer. Probably could have done better if I didn't have the Fujitas (serious heat soak sitting at the dyno in the shop). They are extremely loud when combined with the FI Intimidator exhaust. I too am contemplating going back to stock Cats (I've repeatedly gotten a CEL since install).
i just intsalled a set of berks... im very impreset with the cats eventhough it sounds a little raspy i feel like the car came alive after putting on a set of berks HFC and a jic majic Y-pipe. fitment on the berks HFC was perfect and no cell light came on so def... no complaints... I WOULD HIGHTLY RECOMEND THE BERKS HFC.......

Wow, good thing I did not buy the Berk HFCs yet. I listened to some clips on youtube and did not hear any rasp, but that might be because it was a video. I wonder what they would sound like with the nismo header/exhaust setup. Any suggestions on HFCs that provide the same performance/quality as the berks but minus the rasp. I don't mind loud I just don't want to sound like a 4cyl with a Fart can on the back. (yes I know this is the HR forum, just looking for some more info on HFCs
)

Some of you guys are completely overrating the noise of HFC's. I have heard many HFC's in person and they definitely aren't "excessively loud." Definetily not as loud as straight thru test pipes. Rasp is completely overrated, and there is no rasp when you pair HFC's with stock cats.
I've been running Crawford HFCs for a few months now. They perform well, but the value of HFCs are not as great as they once were. The stock cats that come with the HR flow MUCH better then the DEs. Flow testing was done at Technosquare to confirm this. Getting a better flowing exhaust system will give you sar results to switching to HFCs. Is it still worth the money? Eh, comes down to personal preference. I would get cats before I got intakes, but in the end, stock intakes, stock cats, good exhaust, and a tune is going to give you most of the power you'll ever get out of a NA HR motor thats not built.

I think both companies (Berk and Crawford) make quality products.
But overall (IMO!).....
best sound: Crawford
best fit and finish: Berk
Also, I think Profink's words of wisdom (see earlier post) are worth considering!
yes profink is completly right ... but in austria and germany is no tune/reflash already on the market ... and until this, HFCs will be the best possibilty to make gains ...
and therefore, another question ;-) ... how much cells have crawford an berk and are they both metallic?!
