Stillen Dual Hi-Flow Intake Polished Long Tube Version
installation wasnt hard, it just sucked...
will post pics and tips in a few moments while i tender the blisters on my hands

make sure to put these on first, and then fit the pipe into them...
the 2nd clamp in this picture is just hanging loose, leave it that way and put the pipe on...
tighten both those clamps pretty tight
works best this way or you will have a hell of a time
BTW as you notice, i did not remove my strut, and only the front half of the engine cover.

wrap em up with tape while installing, they are very easily scratched!!!! the actual heat shield plastic will scratch them as well, no way around that unless you wrap tape around just that area and leave it there

gains (if any) are not noticeable
imho, this more a dress-up mod, which is why i bought it
*EDIT: ok as for the heat, i just drove the car for a half hour and the pipes feal a little warm, but not as warm as i thought they would be.

I want to avoid creating a thread for just this question so here goes (and sorry for thread jacking). Does anyone know of a sponsor or online shop that is selling the factory dual airboxes/intakes for our 07+ 350Z's? I'm trying to avoid asking my dealer so any help would be appreciated, pricing too if possible.
If you are looking for factory airboxes, I would recommend searching the marketplace or in your area. There is always people who are willing to sell them to you for cheap. Other than that, a couple of sponsors here online are also part for dealerships. I would start in marketing for cheap stock intake.

Sweet. I know what they sound like without the long pipes, I will probably order them in a couple of months. For now, other parts are a priority. Right now, I am thinking HFCs and Catback, then BBK first.
i just upgraded to the long from the short. the car got a little louder in a good way. and i do feel a little bit more snap when i first punch it down. but it feels the same once u get past the snap when frist press down.

they mount the exact same way the stock boxes do

Welcome to the forum. I assume you are talking about the drop in K&N filters. As a recommendation, I would do a search in all forums here for HR K&N. I am sure you will find the answer you seek.

Yea I taped a little part of the pipe I should have taped more though. Actually I should have taped the strut bar. But TNX for the info im going to go get some polish.
Does anyone have a prob wit the strut bar rubbing on the pipes. After running the car I popped the hood to find the strut bar nut was rubbing a hole in my pipes. So I had to put some tape between them to stop the rubbing. Did anyone els have this prob.
