Default HR header collector inside pics

I pulled my HFCs and though I woud take a pic to show the inside of the OEM HR headers.

I dont see how any after market headers could improve on the HR oem design. At least not enough to make a difference in HP.

But as you can see the 03-06 is pretty small inner pipe diameter.

Agree. As soon as I removed and looked at the 2004 OEM exhaust manifold I knew that it had to go in the trash.

Any long tube headers in the works that somebody has caught wind of that would go from head to y pipe? Seems like the only reasonable approach worth while to extract more ponies via headers for an HR...

being able to find the headers of the 380RS-C would be nice (really LOOONG tube)

ha, none of the parts of the 380RS-C can be sourced separately. Can only buy the whole car if u have a couple of hundred grand lying around, lol

Question

Hey WalkerT, just wondering when you pulled the HFCs off did you have to go through the engine bay at all? I was looking down there the other day and noticed that I can reach all the bolts from down under, or that's what it seemed like.

Two of the bolts are easier for the top with extentions. The other one is from the bottom.

Yes, but they're going to be VERY expensive custom pieces made with burns stainless collectors, etc...
