i just said they were a ripoff...

Power---reliability----price

pick two.

if you want the best headers they wont be cheap.
im sure alot of people here dont realize that you can't just bolt on headers and expect to make 20whp, you have to tune for them, new cam grinds are included in that for you noobies. as are porting and headwork.

otherwise just get the cheaper headers and gain a little bit.

but You (dave) already know that , at least i hope haha.

if some of you other guys are intereted in this, just look up a hotrodder forum.
they have all sorts of ways of extracting NA power, even though most of thier engines with serious power are twice the size of ours or even bigger.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but I cant find much information on these headers.

I'm looking for any information or experience with these such as:

do they fit left hand drive cars, what year Z, etc.

gains experienced with these (I understand they may be minimal)

where exactly you can even order these (their website doesn't work for me lately/had no ordering system last I remember)

Thanks.

I bought these for over 2 grand from japan. Dont ask

After a 4 hour install, a reflash at TS, and 100 miles of driving they cracked
Even with the reflash, i managed to gain 5whp out of these. Honestly, not worth it. They are off the car and they are repaired and been painted at Jet-Hot. Waiting on HFC till i put them back on and another tune. Lets hope I get better gains this time.

Really bad phone pic.

Well Tadashi recommended for me to get HFC but the car was already insanely loud. My best option is to get huge resonators on my exhaust, because Invidia exhausts dont come with them.

What HFC do you guys recommend?
Im sort of leaning towards kinetix but then again a few of my Z friends say crawford.

I have nothing but good #'s and words about Crawfords. I don't think HFC's will solve your loud exhuast problem. Maybe best to just sell the exhuast and move onto something better.

That Invidia exhaust is the best exhaust towards performance and sound beautiful. FI is whatever, greddy is too expensive for a mid-back exhaust.

I dont mind that its loud, louder the better. But my locations has the worst cops you can imagine.

How many CELLS does the crawford HFC have?

False.....

Get the crawfords if you go hfc's. You shouldn't throw any codes with them.

Never thrown a cell ever with my car. I can honestly say the HKS exhuast is Awesome. My gurl and I took a 7 hour drive to our Vaca destination. Car is comfortably quiet at highway speeds. Yet, has awesome sound when Romped on! Totally satisfied with the Hi power dual exhuast. Has a sweet purrr at idle. Deep tone.

I have had exhuast tickets in the past with other cars and if I pass a patrol car I just behave and cruise along as nothing is going on. But I also lower my windows. lol I've had one tint ticket with the car so far.
