Default nismo CAI

hey everybody i'm new to this forum and would like someone to help me out with this problem.

I have an 07 350z touring. two days ago I installed my NISMO dual cold air intakes... I love them they sound bad *** and I feel a slight difference in my performance. However, i was cruising around this night and my Service engine soon light popped up.. Could those intakes actually trigger the SESL? can someone help me out with what might be the problem before i take it to the dealer? what symptoms could it be and should i reinstall my stock intakes before i take my car to the dealer or are the nismo ok since they are an official nissan tuners.

Thanks alot

Yesterday I asked the dealer if I installed the nismo cai on my '07, would it void the warranty. "Jonathan" at sandy sansing nissan told me no cai would void the warranty. But, a phone call never hurts.

You probally messed up one of the mass airflow sensors, if not that, then one of your breather's are probally blocked somehow, I had these same intakes for a few 1k miles

The Dual nismo CAI improves throttle response slightly but you wont get any HP gains unfortunately without reflashing the cpu

It's same as AEM dual intake. Use their instruction if you like.

Being its Nismo, they won't give you any beef, or at least shouldn't. However, in reality, no CAI installed should be an issue.

I would still check with your dealer on this. Last I checked, this is an R-Tune mod and it could void the warranty. S-Tune mods are covered by warranty.

Hopefully they don't say anything much, but never know knowing dealerships...
