Default Got my fast intentions exhaust put on yesterday

I drove from Vegas to Cali to have it done, and it was worth every mile of the drive (it was so gorgeous out). Tony was more then helpful and I couldn't be more happy. The quality of this kit is amazing, and the sound is just that good as well. Here are some of the install pics, sound clip will be later tonight or tomorrow

I ordered mine about two weeks ago. Don't think it's been shipped yet. Ordered mine with the HFC's as well. Cannot wait to install it.

I got the HFC's as well. It definately made a nice diffference in the midrange more then anywhere else. I got some pics with the x-pipe and the cats if anyone wants me to post those up as well.

This is the intimidator BTW.

I love mine!!! Put in on last Spring, and haven't had a problem with fit or finish. The HFCs make it a little louder than I expected, but I got used to it in no time at all.

+1 love this exhaust's sound and definetly it's performance. It's top notch stuff. BTW, how shocked were you guys when you drove the car? The sound from the cockpit in real life is so superior to sound clips you feel like your money was definetly well spent I think imma go in and see Tony about some bigger tips that stick out a little more but smaller than the dominator tips...just my preference(dual 4.5inch)

Personally, I'd agree on the larger tips. I think the look and sound would be even more aggressive, and that's a good thing! Perhaps we could even get some dry carbon thrown in here? ;]

The sound from within the car was/is amazing. The drive home was very satisfying while listening to the exhaust note throughout the power band. We both appreciated that Tony seemed like such a perfectionist on nearly every detail of the install.

+1 for Fast Intentions. Excellent service and product!

I was told they are making the same carbon fiber exhaust they have for the g37 also for the 350z. I'm waiting for that before I even think about getting an exhaust.

I actually really like the looks of the tips as it still remains relatively stock looking. Im not one for being flashy but more in favor of being purposeful.

How much are these systems and has anyone dynoed this vs the HKS TD or other systems? Are there any sound clips of this exhaust?

They are 4" tips, so I don't believe the stock tips are bigger, it's just because these are rolled I'm thinking. I do agree though, 4.5 inchers may look better, but I really don't care at this point!

A.H. -- Your right, the sound clips do not do this justice, I loved how your car sounded in the driveby videos, but hearing it in person is just that much better. Performance is top notch for sure, the midrange especially got a real waking up!

Also I apologize for not having a clip up yet, I was going to do it the following day, but I got called into work I'll take them this sunday and update the post then.

Can't wait for those. I really wish my camera's microphone didn't suck so bad because it distorts the beautiful VQ-retaining sound. Hopefully you can get some better ones up

If they make that carbon fiber exhaust for the Z, Ill have to sell my hks. That cf exhaust sounds great, and looks better imo.

OP, looks great!

If you want to get it Tony could make it but he would need to build it on a Z first to get the jigs and ship it out. I'm going to get tips soon so if you want we can cordinate and I can leave my car in his shop a little longer for you to get your CF exhaust(Tony's been asking to use my car for it anyway). PS. He wouldn';t have to build the whole exhaust from scratch. THe CF version is exatly the same as the intimidator until the axle back which contains the CF mufflers and new tips so I wouldnt' be out on a car more than a day. And I could tell tony you are a freind so you can get a nice discount
