Bought some Test Pipes. Hoping to get them installed tomorrow, that is IF I can find a shop here in California to install them. Then I just bought some nice new Volks that will probably be mounted this weekend, if everything goes smoothly. Then I want to get my hands on the new Stillen headers. Then I want to buy an LSD, maybe Quaife. Then I want to buy a JWT clutch and flywheel combo. That's it for now...I guess, hah.
Somethings to question..
How do you lose 15lbs per wheel on the rear wheels and only 5lbs in the front? Coilovers remove 35lbs? What kinda coilovers are you going using? which exhaust are you changing out with a ypipe that is 55lbs lighter than stock?
Yeah, I saw that. I'm a little pissed at myself for jumping on the AP so fast now, but on the other hand, if they refine the maps and are willing to work with me I won't really care much.
Reduced weight is my main direction. I plan to reflash this winter, and look to do the light weight battery in the spring. I recently picked up a set of Rays, and was amazed at the difference in the feel of the car, it feels quicker. I keep looking at the brakes that are 10 pounds less per set, but they're not exactly cheap. I was thinking flywheel, but the harmonic balancer being in the factory flywheel has scared me off that one. That's too bad, because I love the aluminum flywheels in my 89 Mustang and 67 Cougar. Now a light weight pressure plate would be super....
I returned my car back to stock form. No kit, no volks, just stock. Next mod is paint job, amuse kit, wheels, bbk, and possible turbo. All within the 2 years or so. Trying to pay mostly cash and not deal with credit. OK, might take a little longer than 2 years. LOL!
