Since most of us have just purchased our HR's. Is there going to be any of you buying the 370Z? What is your opinions of the new Z's looks compared to our 07/08's? I like the car except for the back. Dont like the way it looks chopped with the Maxima lights. Other then that it's okay.

 

I will not be purchasing a 370, but i will be on the look out for a 3.7 to sit at my house and slowly build to drop in my 350.

 

I will never purchase another Nissan product and i cant wait to unload my 350 after its paid off

 

Now that sounds interesting. I wonder if you will get better dyno numbers than the 370?

 

no more z for me after im done with this one. GTR is my next car on the list

 

+1. I'll not buy another new Nissan unless it's a GTR - depreciation pwns on these z-cars.

If I decide I don't want to spend GTR money, then I'll wait and buy a used 370 and mod the crap out of it. Let someone else take the depreciation hit.

If I had a DE then I would have definitely traded in for the new Z..

But the new Z is not that much faster than my HR.. so I could care less. In fact I am happy to see the new Z make progress to become one of the best sports cars for the money..

Kudos to the next Z generation.

No 370 for me either. Maybe a MB C63 AMG.

 

I've owned 2 350's thus far, and a 370z isn't in my future plans. I'd more than likely shoot for the audi R4 when it comes out.

theres nothing to really be excited about, their only like 3 tenths of a second faster than the HR Z's in the 1/4 mile.

WERD!!!! you are so correct Entaille, i bought mine with 6000 miles on it and i still owe 25k when it's only worth 18-19k. . .maybe less. . .haven't looked at the kbb lately. . .

 

Compared to us. the 370 isn't much.. I won't be getting it. Unless there is a 370zx. I mite consider that. Since the g37 is now being afforded as a g37x as well. I expect it soon.

 

I won't be getting it either. Really don't like the looks and perforamance doesn't impress me either. I'm just going to keep my Z for a long time and get a stick weekend car within two years. Something around the price range of the new m3

Since all the hype was -200lbs and more power, is actually weighs a bit more than my Touring. Was really disapponted with the numbers. I mean if you're going to make a car with a questionable exterior design, at least make it faster. With the shorter wheelbase though, if probably handles better than the Z33s. Plus I wonder how the aftermarket is going to make use of the VVEL, that's the only thing I wish our beloved VQ35HR had. So no! No 370Z for me!

Something nice, fast, and with back seats in the 50k to 70k range.
