I think you might have one problem though, the stillen headers sometimes rub against the steering knuckle so it may have to be shaved a little.

I think they fixed that a while back. I'll let you know if it rubs. I hope not.

I don't think it'll come out good, but I'll try it. My camera kinda sucks.

to respond to the questions on the collecters on both sides. first of all these are alright header. the welds where the pipes emerge are not perfectly smooth, from the looks it creates a little turbelence which is a little restriction the other side of the welds sucked coming from the motor. I took a dremel and smoothed out all of the welds. IMHO there are ok headers i defenatly feel the z picked up with the header but id rather pay 500 extra for headers with perfect smooth welds rather than the stillen.

i have the same headers... if i had to do it all over again, i would have saved my money for forced induction.... But for now, im happy with them. Thats my honest opinion.

But yeah, you do feel gains.... And noise increases slightly....

I agree about the welding, it could've been better. For me it doesn't matter, and considering the price they seem fair. You should have bought the Impul ones, those look like they are real good quality.

keep in mind though that the uneven welds in the pipe are restiction espacially on the collecters for the motor. basically im saying the unevern welds at the collectors definately robbed you like 10 whp.

I have to agree, stillen headers are good for the money, but I don't think they tested them all that well for the HR Z. I think what they did were take the G37 headers and checked to see if they could bolt up on the motor then just put them on the site saying that they fit Z's without fully testing it on the car. That's probably my only grip with them since I got them when they first came out.

I took a dremel and sanded the welds down until it was smooth with the pipes.

Looks good to me. I like the welds on the collector.
