I know everyone/most people on this forum say to do drop ins. I am out to prove them wrong....I hope.....

I installed these on saturday, but wait for it.....
just before I did, I got a baseline dyno with my car stock. 100% stock, minus a shift **** <--good for about 15 rwhp.

but seriously, I got a baseline and will be going back here shortly probably this weekend for a comparison dyno. I made about 259 rwhp (5th gear pulls)

As for the intakes, they look great, sound really aggressive, but only while putting down the hammer. They sound no different on startup, or cruising, very mild. Look is great, fit pretty decent, instructions were great.

Only problem I had were the breather hoses that were supplied....way too long and I had to trim them shorter to fit them on the intake plug.

Dyno graphs soooooon. pics look exactly the same as previous post...

i'm not sure if I should go with these stillen 2's or an open type like the JWT. either way, I'll be getting a tune shortly after to make sure I'm not losing any power.

I see they have the "ultra" long available now....similar to injen.

I still could not pass on the price I paid, less than half of these. Let's just hope I make power....

Personally I don't even care if the intake gains hp on the dyno because it doesn't matter. An intake is for sound, throttle response, and power gains. As I stated earlier the sound is worth it alone, but the throttle response is up from the K&N drop ins I had right before this intake. Now for the power gains, that can't always be measured on the dyno...For example, my friend has a c6 vette and has the vara-ram intake system on it. Dyno results are minimal but the intake has proven to lower numbers at the track. I can maybe make some videos this weekend if you guys want.

^^^^

you jinxed me fabcas.....I got there at 6 for my appointment, and what do you know. The guy never shows. After about a half hour of waiting, finally got ahold of him....he was over an hour away cutting grass.....totally weak.

Anyway, sorry for the build up but no numbers today. I may get a chance to go back soon but don't know. Maybe I just save the money.

I feel like I let down my350z.com with only a few posts under my name.
my bad....

here is my baseline. stock 2007 350z enthusiast. run 1,2 in 5th gear. run 3 is in 4th. Is it me or am I very rich compared to others???

also, 2nd pic is a dyno of a vq35de for comparison. not sure if stock but think so.
