Default 08 VQ35HR Engine 17K miles. What's it worth?

I just totaled my car and thinking about buying the car back from the insurance company and parting it out. I just want to see if it's worth it or not.

What's a 2008 VQ35HR with 17,000 miles worth?
2008 6 speed transmission?

Engine and tranny are still smooth as the day I bought the car brand new from the stealership.

You should find out how much the insurance is selling the car for? Then find out how much you could possibly make back with parting out. If you decide to buy it back how much do you want for your blitz spoiler?

I think the VQ35HR has to take a step down now that the VQ37HR has been born. Still a great engine, just wish I had a chassis to go with it.

Just $2000-$3000. Well if I'm able to buy the car back for $4000, it might be worth it.

If you would consider parting out, I'd give you $150 for the complete engine wire harness.

Several members have 350Zs for parts. Usually keep them for 6 to 12 months before giving then away. Parting-out is a profitless and time consuming headache.

By buying it back are you not going to get the pay out for the vehicle, from your insurance company? If it's a trade off between getting the value of the car vice buying it back, I'd get the pay out, it'd be more money.

He wrecked it via hitting an object or object hitting him.

blasphemy! I dont care if the VQ37HR is essentially the same engine with .2 liters more displacement. its still cant make as much power as THE HR. THE HR defies all logic, science, space, time and continuum.
