The best option is not to get one... But if you must, go with NST

Are the 370Z and 350Z pulleys the same? Stillen's website shares the same part number for both.

2007 - 2008 350Z
2009 - 2010 370Z Lightweight Standard Crank Pulley
+See Application Notes+ 400338 400338 $195.00

Throttle response will be better but you probably won't gain anything on power. The also issue with the pulley is that you are replacing the harmonic balancer with a solid pulley. The harmonic balancer absorbs vibrations (or engine harmonics) caused by the engine at high RPM's, this will protect the bottom end.

If you aren't going to race the car or go FI, sure, the pulley is a cheap upgrade that will give you a little better throttle response (HP is debatable). If you race the car which means keeping it at high RPM's for extended lengths of time or you are going to go FI, don't do it.

Buy Test pipes or HFCs instead (Unless you allready got them). dont waste your time looking into UDP. they get you no where besides being pissed off and wanting your time and money back.

It is my understanding that with light-weight pulleys, ur not really gaining hp your freeing up hp. Meaning, just like higher gearing or weight reduction the car should feel quicker without gaing any real hp. In the accord forums we saw the same thing, it was like 1 hp difference. However, most people including myself felt a difference one the ecu adjusted. Not sure why most hr owners say they don't feel any diference.

I personally don't know any HR owners who are running a UD pulley. I myself bought the kit and chose not to install it. I'd be willing to sell the Stillen underdrive pulley and belt if anyone wants to make a resonable offer If not I may post it on Ebay if I get motivated to do so.

I heard Test pipes will make you loose power. I know that my brother's gixxer lost tons of torque on test pipes...but it's a bike. What will yield more power ACROSS the band HFC or test pipes?

I know from all the dynos iv seen HFCs and Test pipes (after a tune) increase HP... might be different from a bike. as far as which one has more power across the band im not to sure.

I should re phrase that. Test pipes will make you loos low end torque. Meaning 2500-4000 rpm. They benefit the power band from 4000 rpm and up.

I maybe lost a barely noticeable amount of torque below 3k when I had test pipes installed. The mid to high end gains more than make up for any loss at the lower rpms, if any.

Personally, I would not give up the harmonic balancer for a solid pulley. if you want to upgrade, just get an ATi unit.
