I wish. They're still a little out of my price range. If I was going to pony up that much cash I'd start trying to find a used 911 GT3. I love the GTR though. That would be a tough choice.
BTW. It's official. She is done for. USAA made a decent initial offer, but I'm trying to get them to pony out some cash for SPL bushings, Stoptechs and so on. Please keep track of the classifieds. Voboy has first shot at the Stoptechs, but I've got a few other things. Anybody need a Nismo clutch Roller Bearing. I got it for $18 from Import Parts Pro. How about $15 plus shipping? I've also got three cases of Mobil 1 5w30 w/ filters, and some other various stuff.

Sounds good. I actually just need the Stoptech rotors... but if it is a deal then I may take you up on the whole package.

I went to Fort Worth for the weekend to go to a wedding, and I ended up borrowing my dad's IS350 for the time being. It's not a bad deal. I pay what I paid on the Z and get to drive a great car. The only downside is he specifically forbade me from doing any track days in it. It's nice having a dad that's retired, rarely drives his car and is willing to help out his son.
Also, if you are in DFW and looking at buying a Z, new or used. Do not go to Texas Nissan in Grapevine. From the second I stepped foot onto the lot it was a total cluster f**k. I stopped to look at a used white 370Z. I just happened to be driving by and it caught my eye. I knew nothing about the car, but before I could even look at it a salesman was all in my face.
I play along and he sits me at a desk and starts taking my info. I tell him I want a 6spd. 370Z coupe in white, silver, grey and maybe blue. He gives me his life story and tells me he has been working at the dealership for four days. Another 10 or 15 minutes go by and I finally get to see the car.
As soon as I open the door I see it's an auto. Dealbreaker #1. He obviously did not remember I said 6spd.
He says well lets look and see what we have on the new lot. He doesn't take me to a car, he takes me to another d-bag salesman that has been there even less time. It may have been his first day for all I know. Then they take me to their fleet manager within 30 seconds before even getting to know what car I want.
I again tell, all three of them this time, I want a 370z 6spd. coupe in these colors.
The fleet manager says, "Oh we have one 2010 left and we will make a great deal with you..."
I say, "Why didn't you mention this before let's see the car."
He points to a silver automatic convertible. To top it off, they had ZERO other 370s except for a brand new NISMO that was way out of my price range and was "not available for test drive."
At this point I'm about to rip their heads off and spit down their throats. Not really, but all I wanted to do was test drive a car so that I can decide what I am going to get as soon as possible. Needless to say I got out of there, but not before wasting over an hour of my time and not even getting to drive one car. I won't be going back.
