Default Front engine cover question

I do powdercoating and want to coat the two front covers (cam gear covers i think they are) and a few other things. is it fine to just unbolt them? i know i need to take the sensors out i just want to make sure that there isnt anything that is toleranced with the sensor or anything.

For the DE motor, yes they are fine to unbolt. for the rev-up and HR I'm not positive, but I believe if there are sensors it would be better to remove them for the sake of being safe rather than sorry.

there is no sensors in the VTC/EMR covers for the HR... the solenoid with the grey connector onto the brass cylinder thing is the intake solenoid easy to remove... remove 10mm head bolt and use a screw driver to wedge it out (once the O-ring is out it just slides straight out... the EMRs are a bit tricky since they require being "de-pinned" to get out and then you have to put the 4 wires back in their original homes or check engine lights with ruin your day... but after you de-pin the wires the EMR falls right out
