Anyone know where I can get 6MT parts. I need 5th gear synchros and having trouble finding them. According to the local dealer Nissan doesn't offer them.

You need CD009 transmission.

Rodizo, the Z’s manual is I think an Aisin transmission. Just because Nissan North America is reluctant to supply parts, doesn’t mean they’re not available. Transmission repair shops etc get any and all of these parts through different distribution channels. Some updated synchro parts are also available. Check with a trans specialist to see where to order.

In other regions, such as the east-block euro countries, Nissan dealers stock all these trans parts. Americans have just forgot how to actually repair anything. Maybe try using the form search function, as others here have obtained syncro parts and reported that they were quite inexpensive.

Thanks a lot! I will do a little more research and stop on the local Trans shop . I just want 5th gear synchros snd I will swap them out myself. Thanks again.

To do synchros and bearings alone cost more than an whole new CD009... that is why Nissan does not carry the parts...
