Default HR clutch options

After having recently finished my turbo install, I decided to take it to the drag strip a few weeks back, and after the last run I parked the car to go watch a minute. When I went back to do one last run, I noticed the clutch pedal was not raising all the way back up and that the engage point was lower than normal, so I just drove it home and it seemed to get "better". The pedal never stuck to the floor, but I had to lift it the rest of the way up with my foot.

I knew I'd be replacing the stock hr clutch sooner or later but I was hoping I'd get more than 2 weeks out of it..

Regardless I'm ready to do the swap. I know I will need the heavy duty slave and master cylinders, correct? Are there only 1 manufacturer for these?

What are my options clutch and flywheel wise-I'm making about 400 torque at the moment, but it could go a little higher in the future I'm not sure. Not looking to spend a fortune, but want quality stuff- say $1200 or less, mostly daily driving but like to get on it and occasional drags and autoX.

Any help and/or experiences greatly appreciated!

Have you looked into OS Giken? I'd more than likely go with this company when the time comes to replace my clutch.

OS Giken is good stuff, but it won't be less than $1200. With the Wilwood HD master cylinder and ZSpeed HD CSC, you're going to be spending at least $2000 (that's without a discount) and that's not including labor.

There are Southbend threads in this sub forum that you can check out that should be more around the price range you're looking at.

Just spent about $2k on ZSpeed CSC, Wilwood master, ACT Street clutch, and ACT streetlite flywheel for my HR. 500 miles on it so far and the clutch feels awesome. Idk what the street clutch is rated at though..

Although it would be nice, I wasn't really including the slave on master in the $1200, I know they are expensive. I just got a quote from z1 on their clutch and flywheel for $823, and I can get 15% off buying it at z nationals, so it would come out to $700. Anybody have experience with this clutch vs other brands? I'm sure they but it from a company and relabel them so surely it's the same as another manufacturer, just don't know which one.

I have the South Bend DxD Daily Clutch Kit Stage 2 and Zspeed Slave and WW Master, and SS clutch lines for $1475 shipped.I believe the kit was rated to 425hp.

Labor was another $700 , dont you just love internal slaves?

Are you still looking for a clutch? I have a OS Giken R3C I'm trying to sell. Less than 100 miles.
