Default Differences in G35 HR and 350z HR motors?

Is there any difference between these two motors? I have an 07’ 350z and I blew the motor. I’m trying to see if I can swap a HR motor from a G35 that’s wrecked from an eBay seller. Are there major differences in them that require difficulty in swapping the motors? My next question is, if the motors are pretty much the same in regards to swapping simplicity, does it matter if it comes from an AWD G35? Thanks!

I wouldn't buy an engine off eBay. If you do I would insist of video of a compression test at the very least.

Most of the engines sold on eBay are absolutely trashed. You almost never get actual pics of the engine your actually getting. It's usually a stock photo they use to well all of the same engines the spend extra time cleaning up real nice, while the one that arrives at your door is soaked in oil and caked in dirt. Inside and out.

When in Michigan years ago I worked at a junkyard that would pull motors from trashed vehicles and they would sell them on eBay as rubbing "60k" engines. One of these engines had over 300k on it with 26 psi compression on one if the cylinders. Yes i said 26.

Point being is don't buy from ebay and if you do plan on a rebuild.
