I have a question im thinking of installing the zex nitro kit the one specifically designed for the hr motor i have supporting mods the info on the kit says it does not require a tune is the kit safe for the engine how long during a pull can the boost be used being a 75 wet shot and should i ise e85 with it or 108 octane any info on whether this is a wise thing to install is appreciated

 

Someone has a beautiful write up on here on nitrous. 75 shot SHOULD be safe without a tune with 91/3 octane. 100 shot would need tuned to remove 4 degrees of timing. As for e85 or 108 octane I don't have an educated answer, but I'd imagine you would need a tune to run 108 /e85 effectively anyway.
