Default Alberta Tuning

Im close to Edmonton and Calgary and wondering if anyone suggests any good shops with a dyno that you would trust tuning a TT 350z.

South Edmonton.... they have installed APS twins... don't go with any other kits...APS is proven stuff....just a little pricey.

+1, need to know what you are running as most shops have experience with one or two kits or engine management

RCTS in Calgary, monsterhorsepower.com, is a well known and reputable shop in Calgary with in-house dynojet. However, they tend to be very busy and on the expensive side. They are HKS pro-dealers so tend to prefer HKS engine management which is pricey as well.

hope that helps.

go with the HKS Fcon V-pro and get it tuned there...you won't regret it. I'm running the Fcon as well.

Yah i plan on spending the extra money on the Fcon system and also going with the APS TT for sure. Even if i dont neccesarily need the fcon right away, im rebuilding the engine next winter so its for the best anyways.

Thanks for the info guys, i just dont want to bring it somewhere with no experience with tuning fcon and/or the VQ35.

laujik

who are you getting the APS TT from? or do you already have it?

RCTS does not sell APS as far as I know.

let me know. I can refer you to an APS shop in calgary if you want.

Don't go to APEX. There is nobody in Alberta I would trust except Reg at RCTS. APEX has no ability to tune the Unichip, F-con or otherwise.

I have not found any machine shops familiar with the VQ in Calgary. I would be interested to know as well if you have found one in alberta.
