On a (slightly more) serious note, shall we do this, sometime in the near future? We could take a photoshoot on a Sat afternoon somewhere nice, like Spanish Banks, and make our way into downtown for a night of booze and oogling at Hapa. I'm still new to Vancouver (just moved out to the west coast in June after a lifetime in On-terrible) and I would love to meet some fellow car enthusiasts... all my friends here and back home really aren't into that sort of thing at all.
might be going for lunch or an afternoon drink with 240zplus110 to talk wheels as he is looking for some options...if you guys are up for it....this saturday.

This weekend's no good for me, I'm heading out of the city. After this, my schedule is actually pretty bad for the next month or so, but I would still love to finally meet some Z owners and do this, so expect me to bring this up again.

Anyone wander downtown last night? I was just heading to Zakkushi for food with a buddy, and the outfits were outta control. This one girl working a Korean sushi place.... she was wearing a "dirty" cop outfit... I wasn't even subtle about it... blurted out right as we passed her "god, I looove Halloween!"

You know, it's funny... a lot of girls keep saying to me "sorry, but I'm with Alex" when I approach them in this city. Most notably the girls in the knee high white boots standing on Seymour...

j/k!

I go up to Whistler 2-3x a year, and Van and Richmond another 6+ times each year. No big deal. With the pitifully weak US dollar, the time is right for you to visit the states. We're having a meet this Sunday. There will be a big Christmas meet in early December, too.

Depending on HOW early in December, I might make it... though I would like to have the new rims/tires on first (the stock potenzas are almost as bald as an Asian girl's legs!). But yeah.. let me know when you pass through here!

Did I mention I'll be learning to board this winter, and I plan on coming up at least once to do it in Whistler? (mostly I'll be at Cyprus... it's just a lot more convenient, and cheaper!)

well if you come up to whistler, hit me up. I can check to see how the occupancy is, and maybe hook you up with a 90% discount on one of the rooms

sorry you ain't crashing at my place without a laced thong.

Default Vancouver visit

I was just curious if you need a passport to go to Vancouver? I'm visiting my family in Seattle and planning to go there during Christmas break. I was only going to bring my birth certificate because I don't have a passport yet.

Thanks for the help, man. Much appreciated... and I'll definitely give you the heads up when I finally make it up there. So, you work in Whistler, as well as live there? I'm jealous...

And I'll have you know I look fantastic in a lace thong!

I saw the pictures you posted. You know the shot you took of the central library (looks kinda like a colosseum)? You took that from directly beneath my apartment building! You're right about the cars, too. Bentleys, Ferraris, Lambos, oh my!

Yes, you need your passport to enter Canada. BUT, I think you can get by with a birth certificate as a suitable replacement.. I know that crossing into the US they would accept this.
