Default Pulled my engine.

I have to give Dustin(red35) a huge thanks he came down Friday and helped me. I am a cranky MF on a good day let alone after pulling an engine into the wee hours so thanks again Dustin.
We started at about 7pm and finished up at about 3am we had a pizza break in there. Dustin had to work the next morning and drive from RedDeer back to Edmonton when we were done. All went well exept a few stretched power steering lines we missed. At 3am I was not as sharp as I would have liked to have been. I would like to post more pictures but there on Cams camera as we were taking pictures through out the process. I am still waiting on the turbos to ship and the engine should finally ship tomorrow.

The trunk loaded with all the parts and bolts were all tagged and bagged.

pulled the Brembos off as I worked a deal for some Wilwoods

Mmmm brembos, wish I had the cash for those. Still have to pay for the rims ($1250 US) and now I am about to buy some BC coilovers, another $950.

You were not that cranky. But yeah the hour and a half sleep i got was not enough. I think things went pretty good, all things considered. Forgot a couple little things but nothing major, especially for the first time. I would have liked those brembos too, but need to spend some money on other parts. I cant wait to put in gords new motor.

Dusting, are you upgrading as well? By the time I decide (have money) to build my engine you guys will be seasoned veterans at this. Maybe next winter.

Ha, I miss read, sorry. I decided to build my own fuel return, time to go -an fitting shopping. I will just weld some NPT nipples at each end of my fuel rails and go on from there, should be very easy. I just can't justify spending $600US on a fuel return.

I thought you had a fuel return on your car...Gord was mentioning something about it. Maybe it was FMU related, can't remember.

I just installed my fuel return. It would be easy to build one yourself. The an fitting are expensive though. I bought a 6an 90 and a foot of hose and it was 37 buck from mopac.
