I don't see the JDM style in those ... but I am pretty sure if you told everyone here that they were made by giavanni or some "baller" manufacturer ... they would all hate it

get off the jdm wagon everyone

Open up a japanese magazine and you will see how they are JDM . Deep deep dish, step lip, and something that you cant get easily.

HAHA!! Funniest post made me laugh. Its almost like saying, you dont see the silver in your car? That's HARD-CORE JAY-DEE-MM SIR, their is nothing wrong with wanting an item from JAPAN that is very hard to acquire. Funny thing you say to "get off the jdm wagon" but I see your car and it isn't any different from most members on this board? Than again our car is from JAPAN so its kinda hard to avoid such beautiful parts like the parts on your car

My post was indirectly saying that those wheels look like very heavy blingy wheels (hence the Giovanni comment). I respect the quality, but the look to fat to me, and don't seem that sporty to me. All in all, I do not like them

I was saying that if these were presented to us with a picture and were said to be and AMERICAN (OMG) wheel .... that many here not in the uber-cool-like-you jaydeeemmm "know" would not like them.

I don't read japaneese magazines because I cannot read japaneese, therefore I have not seen these in magazines.

So, now this is hardcore JDM b/c it has a step lip, it's deep dish and hard to get (hmm: Kinesis does that ... Fikses too ..how about HRE.. a lil US to me) and I bet CCW and some others could for the right price.

Nothing is hard to get if you can pay for it ... come on, you live in the US ... we can get anything we want for a price, you know that.

I'll have to disagree with you, but im not going to get into it. I haven't really seen anyone say HRE wheels or Kinesis are gay or "OMG BLING BLING NOT MY CUP OF TEA" so your comment about if they were made in the US or not doesn't really mean jack because those wheels are HOT! I personally dont like them on this car all silver, im not feeling it if he would of got them in BLACK or Gunmetal they would look 100x better just like I posted before. Your right nothing is hard to get with money, but than again nobody wants to spend the money for good stuff, and to say these wheels dont look sporty I don't know what SPORTY is to you, here maybe let me show you what they look like on a different car..

YES THOSE ARE WORK S1's on a LAMBO...

But again there are alot of people with bad taste on the board.

yes, they do look better not all polished ... but they are still not what I like for this car.

I like mesh wheels, to me and many others, they are a classy, yet sporty wheel.

I have never been a fan of 5 spoke or split 5 spoke rims, especially on this car.

Mesh wheels on the Z You couldn't pay me to do that..

DONT GET ME WRONG, I am a HUGE FAN of mesh wheels, actually I think MESH wheels are the nicest, sporty's wheels you can buy. But for some odd reason they dont belong in the Z. As much as I love Mesh wheels I WOULD NEVER put them on my Z. Damn and I love the VOLK mesh wheels they offer! They look hot on the Skyline they use to advertise on (anyone have a pic). Mesh looks GREAT ON BMW's, specially M3. But as long as everyone's happy with whatever wheel they buy that's the most important, regardless of favorite wheel or not the WORK S1 is a classic and again thumbs up!

JimRHIT, I agree. Having a taste for a certain look is one thing, but I also think theres always going to be fanboys that accept anything JDM or from 'x' brand as 'the best.' It's natural and it's what marketing is all about.

These wheels don't really appeal to me either -- look like they belong on a chevy S10. The black ones with the polished lip look good, but theres at least a dozen other wheels that look as good with that color combo.

And so what if they're on a lambo? Doesn't validate them or make them more attractive to me. Although that's what they're trying to accomplish (why sponsorships exist). Just open a dub magazine and see how many exotics are crapped on with 20" chrome and spinners.

How much do these weight? It looks like there's a lot of metal, but that's probably due to the stepped lip.

JimRHIT, i'm with you all the way(except the 5 spokes not looking good, because that's what i'm running). Just because something is "hard to get" doesn't mean it looks worth a ****, i personally like my 5 Zigens the best, and its not because some dumba$$ told me they were JDM. BY the way Wicked, i didn't think it was possible to make a diablo ugly. i hope you weren't trying to defend the wheels with that tasteless bumble bee lambo.
