wow...mad hatred for work meisters. whats the deal? i have had work meisters and am currently running work vs-xx (mesh wheel). i don't understand why people don't like this wheel. It is high quality, light for its size, and looks great. work's are of same quality as volk, imo, if not better. for those running axis, maido, maya, 5zigen, rota, iforged, adr, etc. ya'll nee to get the fu@k out. there is no way you guys are running those brands and talking **** on work meisters. its like comparing gap to polo. do your homework uneducated ones. japanese wheel standards are of the highest in the world (along with germany). to have a jwl stamp on an aftermarket wheel is a mark of prestige. check your adr's, maido's and whatever else crap you guys are running...then start talking shiet...

 

Bro, that's a bit harsh. I'm a big fan of both mesh and 5 spoke wheels. In fact SF winnings where one of the wheels I was looking at. I think when it comes to wheels and just about anything is subjective. I'm running a "starfish" wheel, does that make my car Ghey or me for that fact. I also have a CF body kit does that make me into a "ricer" and that kit and the majority of my parts even the stereo is JDM. does that make me a JDM "fool" I think when people mod the cars, at least when I mod my car. I do it for my own enjoyment and no one else's. Some people may be feeling the wheel and some may not.

BTW - Jim you car looks great with the mesh wheels & nismo kit looks great. real classic look.

 

I said they looked ugly, I don't care about the quality when I could never consider them for their looks alone.

I have had several set of Volks, and I now have a set of iForged. You shouldn't trash them with that group of wheel manufacturers. Mine are as light and as seem to be as well made as the Volks.

.....and I love those Work Meisters.

 

Yeah it's been a while since I went to the GTG in SD. Kinda hard since I'm 30 min north of LA. I might have to take a dayoff on a tuesday to make it down there. Too bad you guys don't have a meet on sat. I'd easily be there once a month.

 

You read me wrong man, i never said i didn't like 5 spokes, thats what is on my Z. I just don't like that particular wheel. I too was looking at some SF's, i prefer the challenges though. My comment was directed at the guy who said Jim's wheels were "ricer"

5 zigens are cheap compare to Work meister. However, FN01R is pretty good wheel thou.
