Posted this in the general section by accident, I think you guys can help me about a little more over here.

Hey guys... I've owned my Z for a little over a year now and have gone through two sets of tires. The stockers lasted about 15k miles but that was due to alignment probs causing inside of tires to wear really fast. My 2nd set, that is currently on the car, is wearing perfectly even but they are already bald after about 10k miles (Falken Azenis ST115).

I just seems really strange to me as I have really calmed down with the 2nd set and yet they still wore out faster than the stock potenzas which I thrashed daily. I need a higher treadlife tire, I cannot afford to buy new tires so often. I want something that lasts around 30k miles and wont blow up if I go 100 mph on the highway. Any suggestions?

my tires have been ok, but i'm also interested in a higher treadlife......i don't race or autocross or even drive "spirited" on twisties.......i live in the south where it doesn't snow.......the soft performance tires are not a necessity for me......
