With a 19x8 rim in the front and a 19x10 rim in the rear, I know im going to experience understeer. Can I correct it and whats the best way to do it?
You will be running quite a bit of stagger, which, as you are speculating, will add much more oversteer to the car. A much stiffer rear sway will tend to neutralize the car a bit, but won't be able to correct all of it.
You could add a front camber kit, and dial in a few degrees of neg. camber but that will really wear your tires during street driving.

Oops. I mistyped above. I meant you will experience more UNDERSTEER. Oversteer with that setup will not be a problem.
Sorry for the confusion.

Understeer is primarily created by having a too stiff front sway bar and allowing the front tires to be overloaded by cornering forces..........stronger load index front tires and a 10% weaker front sway bar will do wonders or a stiffer rear sway bar.
There are lots of ways to skin this cat [under vs over] steer.

Coilovers and sways will help. The best results seem to be with the same size tires and wheels all around. There is a thread where someone achieved 1g on the skid pad with 9.5 BBS wheels on all 4 corners. I think they ran 255 rubber. They did sways as well I think. I'll post if I can find it.
