Default I want a different color on my sf challenges...

Since the diamond graphite wasn't available at the time of my purchase. What are my options of conversion?

I heard someone tell me if I powdercoat the wheels it'll crack? Any truth to that?

Do I just ask a body shop to paint my rim black? Is it that simple? or have I just ghetto-fied my wheels?

I currently run silver mercurys

Any advice would surely be of help.

Or can I just purchase one piece of the 2 piece rim separately lol.

powdercoating won't hurt them. the wheel is at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, its not that severe. If it could hurt them, powdercoaters wouldn't do them.

My Maya's are being powder coated right now. Should be a lot more durable than paint.

boostted has powdercoated his Volks two or three times now ... it doesnt seem to affect his wheels. I would suggest finding a good powdercoating and getting whatever color you want.

mercury silver is a great color and personally i would leave it alone. also remember if you already stuck the stickers on good luck on getting a second set. next to impossible to get more from mackin or rays engineering. you can get knock offs of the stickys from ebay.
