Default Bridgestone S-03 vs Michelin Pilot Sport (non-A/S)

Hey guys, looking into new tires since mine are almost spent. I've narrowed my selection to the Bridgestone S-03s & Michelin Pilot Sport (not the A/S version). I'm keeping the stock 350z 18" touring rims and these are direct size replacements, not interested in plus sizing with lower side walls etc.

How do these tires run vs the stock RE040s? I do not track my car and drive a mixed city/highway ride. Looking for the best ride comfort/lowest possible noise for a summer tire/and of course cost vs performance.

Cheers!

Have you looked at the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s versus the regular Pilot Sports? The survey on Tirerack's website rate them higher than the regular Pilot Sports. Also you might want to look at the Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3s as well.

I just purchased a set of Nismo wheels for my car and I am going to put the Goodyear DS-G3s on them. I probably would have gone with the PS2s, but they don't make the correct rear size in the PS2s (275/40/18) only in the Pilot Sports.

Sorry after looking at the tires available for the stock Touring size wheels it looks like the tires I suggested are not available in those sizes 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear. The Goodyears are available for the rear size only. In that case I think both the S0-3s and the Pilot Sports are good tires, much better than the RE040s. See this link for a survey on high performance tires from the Tirerack:

The "Michelin Pilot Sport" PS2 is a great tire. Currently have 245/40/18 front and 265/40/18 rear. Will they fit Nismo wheels?

F 245/40/18, R 275/40/18 are recommended tire size by Nismo. I'm sure those will fit (since you can even put stock rear (245/45/18) to nismo-looks funny but fit). but your VDC might act funny.
