Default Center Cap Question

I just scored a set of chromed 18" 6 spokes (OEM wheels) on Ebay but they didn't come with center caps. My silver plastic ones look like crap. I see that Courtesy Nissan has a set for $100. with a Z logo. Anybody have an experience with using something else? Does Nissan sell a chromed cap?

There really isn't all that much choice on the market as far as "something else". Nissan does NOT sell a chromed cap (i.e. chromed cap with Nissan logo) except for the limited edition 35th Anniversary wheels. I know that the Ray's track wheels and your six spoke wheels have different diameter centercaps, but I do not know the diameter of the anniversary wheel center caps. (They look SMALLER than the 2.27" diameter Ray's center caps.)

The Courtesy Nissan chromed Z center cap is very nice. I have the unchromed Z logo center caps for my track wheels, (and the same center caps coincidentally fit on my Nismo LM GT4s just fine too!).

ChinaClipper,

I have the Courtesy Nissan unchromed Z logo center caps on my Track wheels too. Do I understand you correctly that the Z logo center caps that fit the Track wheels will also fit the LM-GT4s too? I just got my Nismo wheels and am now waiting on the Goodyear GS-D3s you recommended. Hopefully the tires will be here next Monday or Tuesday.

If the Z logo center caps fit the Nismo wheels I probably will use them rather than the plain center caps that come with them. I know you made your own center caps which I like, but I also like the Z logo center caps and I want to contiune using them on the Nismo wheels if I can. I thought that I had seen somewhere that the Track center caps wouldn't fit the Nismo wheels, but I thought that was odd since they are both Rays wheels.

Bueller350z,

I don't have the chromed version, but I (like ChinaClipper) have the unchromed Z logo center caps for the Track wheels from Courtesy Nissan and they look fine. I have heard that the chromed ones match the chrome wheels just fine.
