Default 17 x 9 17mm offset and problems

before I pull the trigger on a set of wheel can anyone foresee any rubbing problems with a 17x9 17mm offset with 275/40 all around?

I would think you are going to rub on the fender. I have 18x9 31mm on a G35 coupe and if the wheels were moved out 14 mm I think I would be in trouble. I had a 350Z and the wheel fitments are very similar. Also, you are changing bearing load, steering geometry and many other things with that offset. I hope someone will respond who has something closer to what you are wanting to do. If your car is lowered it will magnify these issues.

That wheel choice will be pretty far off front and rear! In comparison to an optimal fitment, the 17x9+17 wil be 10-15mm extended outward up front and will be 10-15mm retracted inward in the rear.

it will fit, though ideally you want a mid 20's offset IMHO
