I busted both of my volk gt7s but recently got them replaced, however the center cap is still on the old rims without taken off.
I tried to twist them off but they wouldnt budge is there a specific way to take off the center caps of gt7s like from behind the wheel or just force turn the caps. Thanks.

 

Most center caps can be pushed out from the backside of the wheel. In other words they don't twist in but snap in place. Try using one hand to push the cap out while holding the other hand in front of the cap so you can catch it when it pops out. If you can't apply enough force with your hand or fingers try the handle of a screwdriver or hammer to push the cap from behind. Be sure to be ready to catch it when it pops free.

 

it be better if you had someone to help you so you wont bust up the cap. if not then may i suggest a towel on the floor put the rim on a couple 2x4 to prop it up. then gently pop out the center cap landing on the towel safely.

 

Yeah the Volk center caps have a rubber gasket around them that help them seal to the rim. You will have to knock at it from the backside with the wood part of a hammer or something to get it out.
