Default Question re: Stock Track Wheels

Can anyone tell me whether the stock 18" Track rims are the same on the front as they are on the back - I realise the tyres are different sizes but are the wheels the same width and offset?

Not sure on the offsets, but front width is 8" and rear is 8.5"

That's what I thought but the owner manual / handbook and the various stickers in the car (relating to tyre pressures etc) all state front and backs are 18 x 8. Is this just a Nissan typo?

International Track models may have different wheels then US versions. Post your question in some of the other country forums. Anybody from the US will tell you 8.0f, 8.5r because that's what we have here.

Ok then - lets assume I have 18 x 8 front and rear. If I wanted 19's and ran a 9.5 wheel with a 245/35/19 on the front, what would be the appropriate tyre sizing for the rear so i didnt bugger my Traction control?

The reason i am asking is that I dont like the look of 10.5" rear or 8.5" front Volks, but feel the 9.5 is perfect.

either 245/40-19 or 275/35-19 would be the same size as stock.

I would go with either a 265/35 or 275/35 for the rear. Seems like a 9.5" rim on the front with that wide a tire will make for poor steering response IMO.
