*?* about tire sizes!!!
Why is it when I look at some peeps set up on rims and tires. They end up having an offset but the tire sizes are like 35 series in the front and 30 in the rear. Is that suppose to help with performance or what? That is confusing me a little because I want to put 20's on my Z with an offset but still looking good on the road. TIA for ya'lls input .
Some people choose to do 30 in the rear so the side walls match the front.
35% of 245 is 85 (front)
30% of 275 is 82.5 (rear)
35% of 275 is 96.25 (rear)
So you see the overall diameter matches better with 35 series in the front and 30 in the rear. But this will trip VDC. So technically you should have 35 in the rear if you have 35 in the front with a staggered setup. The computer will expect a larger diameter in the rear.
Its up to you. Personally I think it looks better with a 30 series in the rear.
