Default faulken fk451 tires impressions....

just went from 17" stock wheels to 18x9 and 10.5 with faulken fk451 245/40 and 275/40, that extra with in wheels in UNBELEIVABLE! I knew it was goin to grip better, but holy crap! just went for a hour ride and ripped through some turns like never before, so the tires are great, going wider is awesome, lots of grip and my new ssr's are about 22lb fr and 23lb rear and what a big difference! the car accelerates alot better!

Excellent. You're talking me into going with lightweight 18" wheels (though I like the 19's quite a bit).

i have ssr proffessors, anodized lip with black spokes.
They are way lighter than stock, and you can really feel the difference.no pics up yet but if you do a search for ssrprofessors youl find some. keep in mind the pics ALL SUCK!. when i was waiting for my wheels to arrive and i was seeing other cars pics with them on i thought maybe i made a mistake, but all i can say is hell no!.the pics dont do the wheels or the car any justice. trust me im a freak when it comes to having stuff look and fit right!

Excellent! I will look for any pics that you post. I've seen a few pics on this and other forums, and thought they were OK, but no big deal.
I'm glad that you could feel the difference with the lighter weight wheels, and that's also one of my goals--more performance with lighter rotating mass.
I've had my eye on the Nismo wheels, but I'm definitely open to other good wheels, so I'm taking my time on the selection.

check out the ssr's if you like them. their really nice. i love them, and now cause of all the traction i find that i really have to try hard to break the back end loose. kinda gay and kinda cool at tthe same time. the car is now SAFER at HIGHER speeds!

Is your car lowered with this wheel setup?
