I have an '03 Performance model and i need to replace my back tires. I got almost 25k out of the stock rear tires. My front tires were replaced free under warranty for the feathering tsb issue.

I want to upgrade to the S-03 from the RE40's and I was quoted at $275 + tax and balancing. (I know online at tirerack.com the tire costs $215.)

Does $275+ sound like a fair price? Does anyone have recommendations of a good place to go in the west LA area?

well, not in west LA, but here in huntington beach, Shoreline motoring has some great prices, and i did a search for a 245/45/18, and the s03 was 216.07 mounted and balanced, not including tax.
