Sry the title might throw u off, anyways looking to replace the potenza's with something with more bite. I had a set of falken Azenis wrapped around Volk GT-7's and they hooked nice but they were borowed from my bro,

I had Nitto 555's and they have good DRY road holding but absolutely stink in the wet. Wear was good. Price is very reasonable.

That being said I now have the BFG KDW 2 and they have done well in both wet and dry. A tad on the noisy side though. Price is fair. Can't speak on wear yet.

Almost busted my left nut on a wet road with the Nitto's but all is safe with the BFG's.

The New Azenis rt615 are awesome. I'd wager to say they are the stickiest street tire available. They also fare decently well in the rain.

S03's for cornering ability, for straight line grip, not counting DR's or slicks Id say the Eagle F1 GS-D3, and for all out 1/4 racing Mickey Thompson E.T. streets...for a reasonably priced street tires, Falkens both the St115 and the other one I cant remember the model # are great for the money.

YOKOHAMA AVS IS DISCONTINUED??? Thats like the only model that fits fat 19's! I have Yokohama AVS, VERY good dry traction, wet traction gets iffy at times.

no, they still have a version of the Yoko AVS, but it is different than the ones i used to use, so no worries azn mojo.

the worst is when you shred 1 tire then have to go and by 2 because they do not carry them anymore, especially when you are paying $200+ a tire. that really sucks

Had the Potenza S-03s... good tire, but I dumped them in favor of the BFGoodrich g-Force KDs (not KDWs) which are much, much stickier! My Z will only ride on KDs from now on.

Michelin PS2's, they back up all the hype about them. I had die hard S03 fans say they would prefer them any day. S03 is a very good tire too. The Michelins down fall is their price, but they are excellent tires wet and dry traction. For the price Toyo T1S are good too. If your on a budget then one of the other tires recommended above or Toyos, if not then Michelin and then S03's.

Just ordered a set of Goodyear GS-D3's ... hopefully they will be good.

I used T1S for my last set .. so this should be a good comparison

Had a set of Kumho Ecsta ASXs on the SpecV. Awesome tires in the rain.

I'll probably replace the OEM tires with ASXs when these are done, or by fall.
