Default Please Help!! Best Size For 20x10s?

I've got DPE 20s on order and I'm trying to decide on the best tire to protect from curb rash. The wheels are 20x8.5s and 20x10s. I'm considering SO3s in 245/35s & 285/30s or Toyos 245/35s & 275/30s.

Will the Toyos provide enough rim protection? I know I can be carefull but I don't trust anyone else to be carefull that might drive my car, like my mechanic. I must decide this week if I want the SO3s because the rebate ends Saturday. Any opinions?

TIA

If you're concerned about curb rash, go with 285/30.... I have 10.5" rears with a 275/30 and the lip is exposed.

Thanks but I'd like to go with the Toyos if they'd provide some kind of lip around the 10" rim. They're quite a bit cheaper than the SO3s. I wonder since mine would be smaller than yours, if 275s would be ok?

I've posted this pic of my wheels numerous times, but this should give you an idea of what a 275 tire looks like on a 10.5" wheel...
