I have a few questions regarding t he following picture :

1.Are the Volks pictures 19's or 20's ?

2.What color are they , gunmetal ?

3.If I were to get these wheels, are the offsets the same for this wheel, or do they have different offsets for the same wheel ?

4. Does anybody know what offset this could possibly be ?

5. Is the car pictured lowered, if so, how much ???

6.Lastly, I don't want to get *** raped on buying them ( my *** hurts just thinking about how much they'll be), where's the best, cheapest place to get them (rims only). I have tires, 275/ 30 /19 back, and 245/35/ 19 front.

They are gunmetal and 19". I'm pretty sure they dont make the Le37's in 20". Offsets look like they are +22F and +35R. You would have to get the 10.5 rear rim to get that kind of lip and the tires you are using will trigger VDC(if you have) and will cause the slip light to come on during hard cornering or acceleration.

 

Will my 275/ 30's fit onto a 10.5" rear wheel ?
As far as the VDC, I always turn it off everytime I get into the car, I hate it , only use it in the rain.

 

It will fit, but rim protection is at a minimum. Just switch to 275/35 when the 275/30's are worn.

 

275/30 on a 10.5" rear will be super stretched bro. I would definitely advise against it. Even the 275/35 is cutting it close, but it wont throw off VDC, and its much more aesthitically pleasing.

10.5" +22 still has like two or three inches of lip right? or has to be +35? and would 9.5s in the front rub?

 

that pic looks like 19x9.5, 10.5 in +22 F/R offsets.....10.5+22 does have some decent lips. 9.5s in front do not rub

 

Those are 9.5 +22 and 10.5 +22. I have the same wheels, it looks bad ***. I have toyos 245/35/19s, 275/35/19s, no VDC issues, slammed 2.5 and 3 inches, no rubbing or fending cutting, nothing. Theres no room for bigger tires tho with rolling your wheel well. Also, the wheels are crazy light. I weighted by 10.5 and 21lbs!!!

 

I have the same setup as laswyguy. (same wheel width, offset, tires)
10.5 rear with +35 offset would give you a little bit more lip, but won't look as good as +22 IMO. (just my taste) I prefer more "concave" look of spokes than a hugel lip anyway, and the lip that 10.5j with +22 offset gives me (about 1.5-2inch) is just about right to me.
No doubt they look awesome. I strongly recommend 9.5 front, 10.5 rear +22 offset for LE37. They are worth additional hassle. (rolling fendors and stuff)

 

I have the same wheels with 19x8.5 front +22 off set and 19x10.5 in the rear also +22 offset and I have PLENTY of lip... pics...

 

The wheels on the Volk car are +35 offset on the rear. This info came from Jeff @ Evolution.

4 think they are 10.5 +22

2 think they are +35. zztop, you used to own 10.5 +22, what do you think looking at the picture other than what jeff@evolution told ya.

The rear appears more tucked in on the lemans sunset car at the top than miaplaya's car which would make sense if it's a +35 wheel

I think the stillen smz car uses 9.5 +34, or at least thats what stillen sells for offsets. Looking at stillen pictures, they are definitely more tucked in but they are also 9.5's not 10.5's.

Many on this site have proven, of course, that 10.5 +22's fit if
#1 not lowered too much or at all
#2 lowered and you let your neg camber tuck the wheels in
#3 roll fenders

Only reason I ask is... if the top car is 10.5 +35, then you can get fat lips without having to roll fenders when lowered and camber corrected. This is an option i haven't seen anybody take on this site as far as I have found?

Curious then, why haven't many taken this option of 10.5 +35 given that there is no rubbing hassel. It appears that most opt for the 10.5 +22 if they want lip.

Is there a disadvantage to the +35 setup? rubbing on inside? example. brake clearance? coilover/spring clearance?

Also, has anyone seen what a 9.5 +36 looks like?
Searching the site i've seen +34 that has lip and flat spokes.
+35 has small lip and essentially flat/slight concave spokes.
? does the +36 have a concave spokes and large lip by any chance? this would give that option in the 9.5" variety? I realize they'd be even more tucked however.

all above talking in the TE37/LE37T variety of course

Did you have to roll your fenders for the +22 offsets in the rear? I'm thinking of getting the same wheels in silver with those offsets.

 

+22 rear and 285/35 I had to roll the fenders

 

True but I heard if you use a 275 tire in the rear, you don't have to roll the fenders. You can also drop it to you're hearts content. Is this true?

 

275/35 you can get away without rolling and can be pretty low..but Im not sure about dropping as low as your hearts content though...
