Question VOLKS Protection?

Hey guys. Getting my Volks GT7 in about a week. I guess I could have posted this in the detailing section but its quiet in there. What do you guys use to pretect your volks? I mean, is it ok to use Zainos Z2 on the entire rim and lip? Or some other type of wax? I want to give my rims just a little bit of protection as well as make the brake dust wipe off real slick like. Any help guys? BEN

This stuff works great on my factory wheels. Check it out.

I have also heard Wheelwax is a good wax to resist the high heat of wheels, but I hesitate to use any wax that has solvents in the formula because the stickers on your Volks wheels will come off in time with solvent exposure. In a worse case, a high solvent formula will dissolve your Volk wheel stickers which are only made of a thin vinyl. My Nismo wheels are made by Volks and only HAND WASHING has preserved my NISMO stickers.

Thumbs up

I've been using *Eagle 1 Wax as U Dry* which doesn't have a ton of solvents, but enough protection to keep my Mercury Silver GT-7's blinging... HARD!

I just tried Wheelwax on my Volks today and they seem to shine a little more but I mainly got it because I heard it helps prevent brake dust build up. Well I guess I'll see if it works.
