Default Nissan Dealerhsip said can't align car....

Anyone ever hear from the nissan dealer that they can't align a car with 19" wheel?

I think they are full of ****.

not saying they arent full of it.... but its possible the reflector thing wont open that far. Keep in mind, they will probably leave scratches where the thing mounts to the rim. So, you probably dont want them touching your 19s anyway.

It also depends on the equipment they have, if it is older they might not even be able to do 18's. If you still have your stock wheels throw them on and then have it aligned, but like I said make sure they can do 18's if that is what you have.

Why would you want the Nissan dealership to do it anyways. Find a respectable alignment shop that knows what they are doing. Make sure they won't mess up your wheels and that you can get a print out of the before and after specs.

I'm thinkng of going to Champion Porsche Audi. They have a race team, and build some pretty crazy porsche race cars for the street. But they r a 90 minute drive.... but they did a perfect alignment on my A4. Sooooo I guess I'm going for a drive. Thanks for the replies!

They wouldn't align ours either... but they're paying us however much we had to spend to do it elsewhere. IMO, this is better -- you get to use your own tire place that you trust.

since no nissan cars come with 19" yet. they have no reason to have big machine to fit 19" wheels (they are dealer not local shop) but i bet they will upgrade to bigger fit machine when nissan comes with 19" stock wheels.

to me, i see no reason to be upset. (yes, you can be a bit disappointed on that but i dont' think they deserve "full of ****" from you.)

chill dude.

I just had mine aligned at the dealer, and I've got 19" Racing Harts.
The dealership is pretty new... must have newer equipment.
