Question Same size tires???

Hi, this is my first thread (please dont be a repost!!!,putting flame suit on), my question is: Is it safe to put all same size tires on the front and back? What are the cons?, any benefit?, I dought it! The reason I ask is because, I have (4) 225/40ZR-18 92W Nitto NeoGen tires mounted to 18x7 TSW Rib rims that I took off my 03 Tiburon GT V6 when it got totalled (Not at fault). Will it work, or should I sell?, Oh yeah, they have the same lug pattern.

I noticed no one has responded yet, so Ill give you my thoughts. Other people are much more knowlegable than me and will respond soon but heres my take. Yes you can do that. If you have VDC on your Z, it will most likey be going crazy though. Youy may lose a little bit of handling as the Z was designed for a staggered tire size set up. Good thing would be you already have the rims and tires and you will be able to rotate them and get hella miles on your tires as opposed to the normal 8-12k miles some of us get. BEN

It is definitely safe to do it. Well, you didn't list which model you own, but your speedometer will be off at least a little bit and if you have TCS or VDC there is a good chance it will come on even when you aren't losing traction which could get annoying real fast, but that is why there is a button to disable it . Also if you have the tire pressure monitoring system, then that also won't function without mounting those sensors inside the TSWs.

i have the same size all around, 245s and the only problem i have is the tcs comes on when i still have traction around some turns... it gets somewhat annoying, you can just turn it off though.
