Default Is Silverstone paint color lighter than gunmetal?

Need your advice guys. I ordered the silverstone 350z, but I'm getting Volk Racing Gunmetal wheels. Will this set up look good? I'm hoping that Silverstone will be lighter than the Volk Gunmetal wheels. Does anybody know if it actually is lighter. I went to the dealerships around San Diego, nobody has Silverstone. Thanks for any input.

It looks like it's the same color! I think I'm going with the mercury silver from Volk. I have a 93 Turbo Prelude that has same color wheel as the paint job. It didn't make the wheel stand out as much. I think the Mercury Silver is a bit darker than the regular silver that Volk offers but not as dark as the Gunmetal. Off the subject, do you know what wheel offset I need for a 9 in front and 10 in back to give it a nice deep dish and of course not go past the fender, oh and it will be lowered.

PLease tell me your not getting GT-C's !!! I have a Silverstone on order and I am ordering a set of gunmetal GT-C's. If you are that would make two identical Z's in San Diego. Are you getting the Aero package?

One more question, when and where did you order and what is your ETA? Would like to compare with what I was told.

Don't worry I'm not getting the GT-C's. They said it will take 3-4 months. Ground effects I am getting. But coming from Japan. I doubt it would be the same. Do you think the gunmetal GT-C's will look good on Silverstone? That's what I'm debating!

I finally found a dealer that had the silverstone in stock. The color is actually much lighter than expected. Gunmetal should look really good on the Silverstone.

Here is a pic of a SS S2000 with gunmetal LE37T's. The color of the S2000 is almost identical to the Z. Not exact, but real close....

the s2000 is not mine, I have a Z.... I was curious about the color difference, like you, and found these pics. I had met with some s2000 guys, and found that the s2000 silverstone is very close to ours.

I feel your pain on the wait, I waited 9 months. But, it is well worth the wait. Everyday gets better and better.
