Default Front wheels were a pain to put on

I just put on my new Enkei PK6's on and it took a while for me to figure out WTF was going on when I tried to put the fronts on. I'm probably the last to know but is this stupid bolt and spacer on the hub in between two of the studs. It looked like the wheels would clear it but they don't quit.

I just removed it. Should this be a problem? Can I leave them off when I put the stock wheels back on for the winter?

Your talking of the screw that prevents you from mounting a rear wheel on the front ?

PUT THE BOLT BACK ON BEFORE YOUR WHEEL FALLS OFF!!!

You'll be fine. The bolt is there to prevent your dealership from accidentally rotating your tires. Most people with aftermarket rims removed it.

It's no problem taking them off. It's there to prevent putting the stock rears on the front considering the rears have slightly wider tires. Doesn't affect form, fit, or function of the aftermarket wheel.

I had the same problem installing Enkei RPO3's. I called nissan service to ask about it. Believe it or not, the guy said, "It's ok to remove it, but don't loose it though, because when you change brake pads, you have to reinstall it to make sure everything lines up correctly."
So much for relying on dealer service techs. Remove it, and don't worry about it.
