Default 22 & 24mm off-set?

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum. Sold my '02 WRX (run'n 12.6 on pump gas) and got into a 350Z. I am looking at purchasing new 18" wheels but am unsure about the proper wheel width. I only have 2 choices 18x9 front and rear or 18x9 (front) and 18x10 (rear). The 18x9 offset is 24mm and the 18x10 is 22mm. Are these off-sets ok and will I need spacers? I will probably run a 245 tire in the front but if I go with a 9" tire in the back what size can I run? I am leaning towards the 10" in the rear unless this is not the ideal set-up. Thanks for any input.

Gary

The offsets are perfect. I would go with 9" front, 10" rear and run 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 tires.

my cousin has an STI and i know that scooby guys run wide as much as 9 but all have high offsets to clear... rear wheel drive is completely different bro lower affsets is what we are looking for to get that flush look.. the offsets you posted are ideal offsets for the Z... nate7 hit it on the spot.... welcome to the Z fourms.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info. The 350Z is a whole different animal from the WRX. The off-set's on the WRX where in the 48-52mm area which is tough to find. My WRX started off in the low 14 sec 1/4 mile and it took some work to get it into the mid 12's. I hope to eventually get a single turbo for the 350Z but I realize mid 12's are not to realistic and I'd be happy being down in the 13's somewhere. Once again thanks for the help.
